About the championship
The Corpus Christi City Championship has been around off and on since 1950. The formats have varied throughout the years, and this year it returns as a match play championship. The first 18 holes serve as stroke play qualifying, with the top 16 players advancing to an 18-hole match play bracket. All rounds will be played at Oso Beach Golf Course, one of the staple golf courses of Corpus Christi that everyone plays, everyone knows, and everyone loves. Perfect for a City Championship.
The championship features a single Open Division, open to all amateur golfers in the Corpus Christi area. All play is from the Forest tees, and every match is 18 holes.

Day 1 — Stroke Play Qualifying
18 holes of individual stroke play at Oso Beach
All players compete from the Forest tees
Top 16 advance to the match play bracket
Sunday, October 18
Day 2 — Round of 16 & Quarterfinals
8:00 AM — Round of 16 matches begin (18 holes)
2:00 PM — Quarterfinal matches begin (18 holes)
Saturday, October 31
Day 3 — Semifinals
10:00 AM — Semifinal matches begin (18 holes)
Sunday, November 1
Day 4 — Championship Match
10:00 AM — Championship match (18 holes)
